Description
Ruta del Cares is a remarkable hiking trail located in the beautiful Picos de Europa mountains. The trail stretches for about 12 kilometers(one way), following the course of the Cares River through a deep and narrow gorge. The Ruta del Cares offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, with towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls. A must hike!
Important
There are no places to buy any food or drinks along the way, so make sure to bring enough food and water. Avoid hiking during Mid day in the summer.
