Norangsdalen - Nestled amidst serene mountains, it presents a tranquil escape away from the usual tourist trails and stands as one of the most narrow valleys in Norway. The valley bears visible evidence of its ongoing battle against the forces of nature. Jelskredsvatnet, for instance, displays the remnants of landslides that have scattered debris across the valley floor. In Urasætra and Stavbergsætra, houses were ingeniously built into the ground to provide protection against avalanches. Lygnstøylvatnet, on the other hand, was formed by a significant landslide from Keipen in 1908. Even today, remnants of the old road, mountain pasture walls, and a gate can still be seen in the lake.
