Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of Bones) is one of the most unique religious buildings of Evora, if not in the whole of Portugal. The small chapel, which was once part of the Franciscan monastery, is lined with the bones of over 5,000 skeletons that were exhumed from the city's five graveyards during the 16th century. Definitly worth a visit!
